Sick At Work

What do you do when you wake up with a major pain in your stomache area, and you can’t stand up because of the blistering pain! You want to take the day off to rest but realize that there are technically only 3 people including you who can deal with customers and a manager.  How can you take the day off?

I ended up going to work with major pains in my stomache area, basically it felt as if there was alot of trapped air inside but I wasn’t sure what’s wrong.  It still pains me, sometimes it reminds me of the pains I used to have when I didn’t drink much water but this time it starts just below my rib cage but sometimes extends all the way to my chest.  It sucks and I hate it.

Work was hectic but not as much as I expected.  I didn’t end up doing something I planned, and what sucks is that no one is on your side when dealing with stupid pathetic idiotic customers.  Tomorrow however is going to suck I’m going to end up staying at work for 12 hours or more.  It’s going to be beautiful don’t you think?

  1. Dude, I know that pain, I just don’t know what it is.
Imagine today there were four ppl missing from the main branch! and when i went down it was SOO Hectic!

  2. Alah ekoon ib 3oonich! Its going to be tough, and the stomach ache isn’t helping at all! I hope you feel better soon!

  3. Isn’t it kind of rude to refer to customers like that? They’re hardly going to know everything that you know about your place of work but at the same time, cut them some slack. They might try your patience, however they’re just looking out for themselves.

I believe a positive outlook on the day ahead helps make it not only bearable, but perhaps even enjoyable.

  4. Allah e3eenich babe … did u at least take something for it?

  5. Drink ginger, it has miraculous effects for stomach-ache. Get well soon!

  6. I get these tummy aches too, and yours might likely be due to indigestion. Shosho is right about the ginger tea, plus I always find making my own hot tea mix of peppermint, chamomile, with a little bit of yansoon (fennel – like they make for newborn babies with colic) helps to soothe mine.

Salamaat oo maat shufeen shar, I really hope you feel better now :)

  7. Salamaaaat matshofen shar! :/ That has to really suck! Take a break really, and drink some tea..

shosho : I slept it helped a tiny bit.

Ms. Baker : Alla Esalmech and thanks for the advice but I felt better the next day.
