[Summer TV] Who Got Renewed or Cancelled?

September 14, 2013  |  TV

This past Summer TV season marked the arrival of a couple of new shows, as well as the return of older ones.  A couple of my favorites this summer season were: “Graceland”, “Under the Dome”, “Mistresses”, “Devious Maids”, “The Fosters”, “Orange is the New Black” and “Camp”.  I’ll give you glimpses into them later on in life but for now I’ll tell you the bits and pieces I heard about which shows got renewed and which were cancelled.

First on the list, “Graceland”, a show by “White Collar’s” creator Jeff Eastin follows a group of undercover agents from the FBI, DEA, to Customs in a one-hour drama to basically discover if one of the agents is dirty.  This show stars the gorgeous Aaron Tveit (Gossip Girl) and Daniel Sunjata (Rescue Me) as well as a couple of other actors Vanessa Ferlito (Grindhouse), Brandon Jay McLaren (Falling Skies), Serinda Swan (Breakout Kings) and Manny Montana (Chicago Code).  This show was RENEWED.

There’s more information as to who got the axe and who got the golden ticket to Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory, be sure to check it out.

And that’s pretty much the update for the past few months this summer.  All the news cancellations and renewals that took place these past few weeks are here.

If you’re wondering about a show you like then please ask in the comments and I’d be happy to answer.

  1. Any possible info on The Client List, Franklin & Bash, or Mistresses returning for additional seasons?

    • Sure, “The Client List” should be coming back Spring 2014. However, it’s a bit early to find judgement on “Franklin and Bash” and especially “Mistresses”. Both shows are summer shows and awaiting the verdict on their renewal or cancellation.
