[Gadget Review] Snugg iPad mini Ultra Thin Smart Case

February 13, 2014  |  Reviews, Techie

Back in October I received an iPad mini case from TheSnugg company to test out and review, winter came along and I found myself constantly attached to my iPad mini and hopelessly detached with doing anything but moderately browsing the internet and catching up my TV Shows.  Now however I find it is the perfect time to share my thoughts and remarks on this case.

I received the “Snugg iPad mini Ultra Thin Smart Case in Orange” which is still available, so if you find yourself looking for a snazzy case then this might be the one for you.  What’s different between this case and any of the original Apple cases?  Well the price difference is the major selling point here.  You can grab this case currently for the discounted price of 29.99$ and it is available in 9 colors.

The packaging of the case came as minimal as possible with the case well protected and information about the product displayed on the box.  Upon opening you are greeted with a very nice thin case that when attached to your iPad doesn’t add any bulk at all but feels sturdy enough to ensure protection from any scratches and falls.  I found my unit to fit perfectly well if only it needed a gentle push to ensure all enclosures were set in place.  The case also had the indentations that allowed it to turn into a stand and help you prop up your iPad to enjoy watching videos or attaching a keyboard and answering stuff.

One thing I hate about most iPad cases out there is the fact that some obstruct your screen viewing pleasure, luckily enough the Snugg case came with a snap on frame that did not cover any aspect of the screen and left my customized skin viewable and able to be seen from it.

There is really nothing much else to say about the case as one uses it to protect or to make a fashion statement and in this case the product was perfect.  I found the material used for the case, was nice enough that even now it still as shiny and bright and doesn’t really collect much dust and the whatnot.

In short, if you’re looking for a case and don’t wish to pick an Apple branded one, this will be the perfect option.

  1. nice case and nice color

  2. Jacqui ;_; I caved and got a mini. I’ve been wracking my mind for a cover. I’d like one with the keyboard but I don’t want it to be clunky or heavy. Any suggestions?
