The reason I divided my packages on two mailboxes, is because I wanted to truly try out USWS even though Mother always orders her stuff using them and she seems to love them. But here is why I hate them, even though this post is a bit premature since I haven’t recieved anything but:
Wednesday Nov 15, I recieved a bunch of packages, MacBook into my Aramex box and Sleeve + Camera in my USWS box.
USWS stated that they will be shipping the packages on the 21st of Nov, and I said that wouldn’t do so I paid the 40$ to “Ship Now”.
Whereas Aramex’s schedule is kind of memorized in my head by now, they check the mailboxes twice a week and they are usually always on the same days, so when it said that they will ship it on the 16/11 they actually had the package ready for forwarding by 15/11. And yesterday my package checked into UAE!
USWS is taking longer, and even though I paid the USWS on Wednesday! They didn’t ship it until the 18th which was today!
So let’s recount:
No extra fees + Normal Service = Aramex arriving earlier
Extra Shipping fees + Mediocre Service = USWS screwing me over for 12KD which didn’t make a difference in the shipping pattern
So which should I stay with? Aramex of course!
Update: I just called them a while ago and complained basically, and they are ‘looking into it’ and if ‘I’m right’ then I’ll get the refund and if not then tough luck to me I guess? But still I’m getting that back.

You should call USWS and complain. If USWS delivered a package to you slower then Aramex then there is a problem. Specially since you used the Ship Now option and paid the extra $20.

Mark, I just did and hopefully they’ll refund the amount I paid. But I am still not that pleased with USWS, they were great the first week I tried them but then it just went downwards from then on.
I think your going nuts cause you want your apple stuff! If it was anything else you wouldnt care but this is driving you nuts! hehehe!

Well, we only have ARAMEX here, but their service quality is great, so I wouldn’t want to try anyone else, even if they were available…
