Although the show has been cancelled I couldn’t help but want to write about it since it was one of the new shows that were introduced this season on ABC and one of the first that got cancelled for not bringing in too much ratings.  Unfortunately it could’ve been something had it not been for the cliched story-lines.

This show basically talks about 3 women who possess unique powers and how they meet each other in the village of Eastwick, a village that is not oblivious to a little bit of supernatural stuff going around in it.  Think, Charmed but without the sisterhood of real life sisters.  You’ve got Roxanne Torcolletti, an uninhibited artist who is known as the Black Widow since they think she killed her husband and she has the gift of premonition.  Then there is Kat Gardener, the nurse who has a ton of children a bum of a husband and the gift of healing and making living things grow (i.e. plants, changing weather, etc.).  Finally there is Joanna Frankel a shy newspaper reporter who has the gift of persuasion, getting people to do what she wants.  They are all brought together when Darryl Van Horne comes into town and makes their wishes come true.  The wishes that bonded them together when they coincidentally made a wish and flicked their coins into the fountain.

I really liked it and enjoyed seeing the amazing actresses on screen Lindsay Price, Rebecca Romijin, and Jaime Ray Newman.  I think if you want to watch something even if it’s cancelled you can give this show a watch.
