I am trying to get off my lazy bum and start posting again and so far in the pipeline (the one which I have to post about this week or so) I have 10 posts some of which events I have attended or shout outs to things that are important.
I am in the process of developing the photos that I took (makes me feel as if I am actually in an old school dark room with the equipment everywhere.. no but seriously I needed to edit some before posting especially resizing them and such).
Anyways, so I appologize in advance for the flood that will soon appear here (and hopefully it will help get some of you off my back *cough*Marzouq*cough* since I am trying to be as active as I can.
To those of you who are new around here, I say Welcome to my humble abode, and to the old peeps, get your stinky feet off my coffee table :P No seriously enjoy and don’t forget to snack on some popcorn here and there. I bid you all adieu!
I can’t believe that it’s been 5 years since I officially made the domain change from to ! Thanks to my favorite peeps , , , and I was able to settle on this name (well 90% of the vote goes to therefore he is mentioned first) and this year will mark my 8th year in the Blogging World.
I may not be an avid blogger. I may not update a thousand times a day or even a week but when I do write I write from the depth of my heart! It’s a doggy eat dog world (I think that’s how the saying goes) and yet I am still here and surviving staying afloat. I try to make minor changes but in the end I do not want to lose me.
Something that has kept my machine running is that lovely widget in my sidebar that tells me what I wrote a “Years Ago Today I Wrote” it basically gives me all posts that were dated on the day I am checking and to be honest to see my transformation year to year (not the transformation that you see normal blogs do nowadays; i.e. Check out this YouTube video, Check out this new restaurant, Check out this new thing, never giving you a glimpse into their lives or their true mind) I have matured over the years and some might say I have lost myself but in a way I think that it was a phase in my life that has now outgrown me. I try to maintain that same person and hope that it lives within me but in the end time will tell.
So January 20 2007 I made the switch over from my favorite childhood domain (it was also around the same month where I got a job and started working) to this awesome cool one! A couch I will forever enjoy and be lazy upon, a couch I truly and desperately love!

With the last days of this month I have decided to stop mourning my beloved Steve Jobs completely. The color black will disappear in a way from this page yet Steve will always and forever be in our hearts! Feast your eyes on my latest creation (this time without the help of the sister who shall not be named [Yes I am insinuating that you are Lord Voldemort!])
Even though most of you saw a sneak peek of my newly designed character and some features of it my design with my gelaskins I think now you can see another version of it. Every element in the header represents something that is near and dear to me and well, this year I am hoping to instill a few holiday cheers within each banner (sort of bringing back Vintage Jacqui [something a majority of you haven't seen because you are new]).
Anywho, enjoy and share your thoughts and ideas. I wanted to go with a major change yet I thought this was major enough :D

Yes I am officially the laziest blogger out there! If I were to screenshot you my desktop you would see Text files there with Post titles and they are fully written but all I need to do is edit pictures and upload. BUT!
But I am too lazy to do all that and upload it!
I am so lazy that I am getting blogger friends requesting new posts on old posts (i.e. BananaQ8 :P )
I am so lazy that I am getting blogger friends approaching me in real life and telling me to freakin’ post! (i.e. 7ajidude; Q8Stig; Swera; ZDistrict; and many more :P )
I am so lazy that I literally am so lazy! I can’t even finish that trail of thought!
So for the sake of updating and for displaying my laziness this is today’s post with another coming tomorrow soon! But here is an update on what I’m doing! I started a part-time job last month and I am hopelessly in love with it due to the fact that I am doing something cool! I am a News Editor! All that’s missing is that hat and the News editor clothes but seriously it’s so much fun handling the Entertainment & Technology pages! And talking about all the cool stuff.
But enough about that I have to actually get back to work right now I will talk to u more about everything tomorrow! I promise (no really I didn’t cross my fingers!)

This time I need to wipe the sweat off brow since she did most of the heavy lifting for this theme. And not only here I need to wipe the sweat off of S brows for the AMAZING HOT HEADER you see above.
The last time I updated my theme was December 12, 2008 and I’ve been dying dying to change it ever since but I keep postponing it because I either don’t feel like it, I got busy with work, I got so stressed and depressed I didn’t feel the need to do much, or which is the most likely reason I was too lazy and didn’t find a theme I liked. But this time I found the jackpot of all themes! I found the gold mine! It’s an amazing theme and the best thing about it is the vibe it gives, it kind of feels (dare I say it) Apple-esque (I know no such word exists but I felt a need to come up with a new word :D)

Please take this moment to acknowledge the achievement I have made this year by not changing my WordPress theme at all. Seriously, I just found this post [link] that was written on the 12th of December launching my latest theme and it is what you are seeing. Hell, I even have some issues on it that are still there but I have been too lazy to get around to it, there are things broken here and there but I do not think that I need to modify them unless I find a hotter theme out there and change into that but keep some of the aspects of this theme.
I did not think that I would be able to last this long without changing my design but I am proud that I did. I guess I am growing up. Sweet isn’t it?

Wow that took a long time, and there are still some tiny stuff that I have to work on. But at least 80% of the theme is complete. I got tired of seeing that maintenance screen and so I thought I should go ahead and launch the new theme.
So I fell in love with this template, similar to my previous one but more digitalized, and I had to add a few things here and there. Thanks to Ananyah’s wooden BG I now have a nice set of wood to soothe the look of the place, and thanks to this new artist I found on Flickr I now have a beautiful set of pictures to use for my Couch-obsession. The artist’s Flickr is , I believe she’s of Spanish-descent and her wonderful inspired me. I choose the above picture which says “Jugar” = which means play, and “Comer” = which means to eat. Because it defines more of me than any of you can ever think. I just loves it!
I hope you guys love the new design and let’s forget that fiasco I had before. This one is a keeper, will be around for a while now :)
Oh and Happy Belated Eid. I’m totally not looking forward to going back to work yekh!

Anyways I moved into a new office with a door now and I’m actually bored with nothing to do because they didn’t install me my phone line so I’m speding most of my time socializing also I’m on a career search.
