His & Hers Q8 Welcome Theirs

September 12, 2011  |  Friends, Greetings

Who knew the day that I came out of “semi-hibernation” (let’s face it I will still hibernate because deep down inside I am a nice cuddly teddy bear) will be the day that we welcome a blogger baby into the family!

His&HersQ8 have officially become parents! YAY! *throws confetti and does the chicken dance*

Let’s all join together and share their joy and happiness and welcome their awesome cool munchkin “Baby Mishari”

Dear His & Hers,

Mabrook Ma Yakom Dears! O Yetraba Eb 3ezkom Enshalla! Enshalla Ya rab ebaleghkom feeh El Thereya El Sal7a!

Sincerely,

Jacqui (the lazy bugger)

Happy Eid Al Fitr 2011

August 29, 2011  |  Eid, Greetings

A month, (well almost a month) passed by again and we are now saying Good bye to Ramadan again! Sorry for the laziness and lack of posts during the end of the month but it’s the busiest but don’t worry the posts are scheduled to roll in very soon.  I couldn’t find a better image than the one shared by Zain’s Social Media people which to me says “Happy Eid” in the happiest way possible!

So to everyone out there my loved ones, family, and friends I wish you a Happy Eid and 3asakom Mn 3awada :)

Thanks to Zain’s Social Media Team for their lovely connection during this holy month it was awesome and regardless of everything I loved it for the family feeling it sent rather than any commercial ideas/feelings.

Ramadan & The Never Ending Gifts

August 5, 2011  |  Greetings

I love getting gifts, especially food & gadgets! And this year I experienced the receiving of gifts from our friends at VIVA, Zain, and Danderma! I love you guys!

I woke up the first day of Ramadan to find that both VIVA & Zain had sent me these beautiful gifts.

Later on in the day I got this awesome package from Danderma!

All the packages were awesome and welcomed in my home hehe especially since both my parents are suckers for the traditional arabic sweets :D Thanks guys!

Happy Ramadan TV Series List!

July 31, 2011  |  Greetings, TV

Update: Due to some last minute re-scheduling some shows have new timings and one of which is “Banat Al Thanaweya” it’s at 9:10PM on Dubai I will update the list and upload it ASAP.

So it’s that time of the year where productivity goes down the drain and everyone goes to work like a Zombie, no one does any major work because we are all either too cranky or half asleep because we stayed up watching those TV Shows that seem to bombard our TVs during Ramadan, or if you are one of the others you stayed up too late worshiping in the Holy month.

It’s finally Ramadan Time! And that means new TV Shows are here! I tried to do my best and compile a list of TV Shows that I was interested in watching or that I knew friends who were interested and the networks showing them.  I remember last year I made that list while I was at work LOL! This year I did it at home! Time does change! I wish you all a happy and holy month of Ramadan and may God fill it with good health and good news.

Without further ado here is my list! Hope you guys love it, I will be attaching a PDF version for those who wanna download it and add it to their iPads :D And to check out more shows and updated timings I found this awesome forum post with the Khaleeji TV Shows (I am missing however Al A3maq, Al Serdab, and 7areem Oboy) couldn’t find what networks they were on or the timings. [Link]

This year I will for sure be watching “Saher Al Lail 2″ & “Al Maleka” the other shows are up for grabs I might also watch “Forsa Thanya” simply because my man-crush Hussain Al Mansour is on that show! Seriously I love that dude! Many thanks to my Twitter peeps (aka Tweeps) for their help and their encouragement! Enjoy!

P.S. For those of you who want the list organized by the timings of the shows instead of the Show name, I created that list and attached it below not to mention kept it text only :D Be sure to spread this and share the love.

Eid Greetings

October 13, 2007  |  Eid, Greetings

Not to join the hoards of bloggers who were posting Eid Greetings these past two days but I thought rather than send a personal message to each and everyone of my friends that I would just post one and get it over with.  Hahaha, sounds like such a hassle doesn’t it?  Well let’s get to it, now that the holy month of Ramadan is over let us celebrate the return of consuming and stuffing ourselves with food in daylight and public by sacrificing those yummy sheeps, wait I don’t think there is such a word as sheeps, but oh well.  Let the killing begin!

P.S. To those of you who have sent me the wonderful Eid SMS’s I am thankful, I just don’t feel like typing one out so this is my response to you guys :P

P.P.S. I am going to be writing a major TV Shows Review Sheet featuring what I’m watching and what I love and don’t love from those new series!
