I just saw the extended trailer for The AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON movie that aired last night during an episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and I fell in love, I am mentally booking my ticket to go watch this movie abroad not going to even bother waiting for it in Kuwait in fear it might get chopped up!
Why can’t they just make a TV Show for the AVENGERS I would love 22 hours of that every year!
No strings on me! Ultron is one freaky scary dude!!
This is one movie I just had to post its trailer! I have always been a fan of Melissa McCarthy simply because she’s a comedy genius! I absolutely adore her and with the addition of Sandra Bullock, (I couldn’t help but feel nostalgic for “Miss Congeniality” when the first scenes came up in this trailer) this movie is going to be pure gold.
FBI agent (Sandra Bullock) is teamed up with Boston Police officer (Melissa McCarthy) to take down a Russian mobster.
Now you believe me? Seriously April 5, 2013 is a date I’ll be waiting for anxiously! I know one other person who will want to watch this movie with me, and she goes by the name of Swair! Right right right? :P What do you guys think, are you going to watch it or pass on it?
On Thursday I took my cousins Toons and Issous along with Lujain out to see the newly released third installment of the Madagascar movie series entitled “Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted” and needless to say [damn I need to find me some new words] I enjoyed this movie greatly.
If you haven’t been following the series in the first part the Central Park Zoo animals Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, and Gloria the hippo found their way to Africa when Marty decides that the Zoo life was boring. In the second part you see them try to live in Africa and try to find their way back home. With the new part you see their adventures going all the way into Europe still trying to find their way back.
Due to the evil penguins and smart ass monkeys gambling antics in Monte Carlo they became Europe’s Most Wanted when they crashed a Casino there and had to get on the run because Capitan DuBois (Head of Animal Control and a weird woman who collects animal heads) has her eyes on Alex because she wants to complete her collection of stuffed real animals! Anyways so they join the circus and all hell ensues!
This installment is my favorite of all installments the cartoon was a joy for adults (I’d like to think of myself as one) along with the children. We were laughing throughout the movie and well if you heard the “Circus Afro” song it will be stuck on rewind in your head which is what’s happening to me. The graphics were beyond amazing and well everything was great. Don’t believe me then check out the trailer!
One bad thing about it though is that this cartoon was censored in Kuwait. It’s a shame really I think they were referencing the “Cirque de Soleil” shows and mentioned that one of the shows was shot in the nude and that was cut out. I mean seriously! Other than that I would highly recommend you to watch it!
I miss talking about my life, and I think the reason I have become just so damn lazy in terms of blogging is that all the posts are similar to what is available in the market (aka the blogosphere). So today I will take a break from all of that and talk about what happened to me yesterday one of the funniest days of this year.
I woke up a bit late in the day because I had a movie date with my Aunt, cousins and Lujain we were going to 360 to watch the release of “Horrid Henry” it was a lovely movie. I really really had fun and enjoyed the movie. In short, the kids movie basically tells the story of Horrid Henry and his friends and their mission was to save their school ‘Ashton Elementary School’ from closing down. But it’s not all peachy and dandy because Henry is horrid and he is the reason that the school was closing down. If you are looking for something funny to watch and kids-suitable then be sure to book your ticket today.
Anywho, afterwards I ran off to work (yes I work on Saturdays ‘sometimes’) and prepared my awesomely insane Technology page for “Al Watan Daily” check it out in my next post and be sure to give me pointers here and there :D
I finished work and headed back to Auntie’s house where Lujain was and sat and had a nice chat with the cousins Toons and Issous, during which Issous became insane! Listen up this is the part of the story you’ve been promised!“]
You see I was showing my Aunt how to use Siri, and Issous saw it as a chance to jump on me to try and kidnap Siri and abuse it! The problem is I don’t like kids touching my gadgets because of their greasy fingers! Yes Issous you have dirty fingers! So I kept trying to snatch it away which got us into the battle of the tickles. Issous jumped on my back and started doing this annoying thing with his jaw where he opens and closes it on my shoulder which mimics the tickling feature and I started giggling like a 2 year old. I tried to shake him off but to no success he was stuck on me like a little monkey. Next he started tickling my sides, I dropped him on the couch and squeezed him and tickled him but apparently that 6 year old boy is stronger than I am and he went back to being the dominant one in the tickling war. I tried to run away but was stuck on me, eventually he held me down in the middle of the room and tickled me until I was literally about to cry! I was able to run away and go home but that tickling fest broke me down hehe :D
Later on that evening, Lujain said that this was the first time she knew I was ticklish and the first time she saw me laugh like this hehe I guess I need to laugh more, and with that I end this adventure with one of my crazy cousins.
Hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed writing about it!
P.S. That photo up there was taken by the iPhone 4S with no editing done on the picture except the photoshopping of the phone :P
This is the movie trailer that made me come out of retirement/writerblock/etc because well I just love romantic comedies but this one leans more along insane comedy! Hehehe check it out I can’t wait for June 24th when it comes out!
Bad Teacher stars Justin Timberlake, Cameron Diaz, and Jason Segel among other actors of course!
Now tell me you don’t want to watch this one!
As I mentioned earlier three weeks ago I celebrated my 27th birthday and on that weekend two of my favorite movies were being released (unfortunately “The Tourist” was released a week later) and so I thought I would spend that time pampering myself as well as my little kiddie cousins and sister. So on that weekend we went to Marina Mall and saw “Tangled” Toons, Issous, and Lujain with my Aunt. We saw it in 3D and it was fun! I loved the effects in the movie and the story well it was the typical Rapunzel story with a twist I believe.
I don’t remember the old version of the movie since it wasn’t one of my favorites at the time, my old time classic Disney movies I loved to watch were The Aristocats, Cinderella, Beauty & The Beast, Snow White & Seven Dwarfs, and some others but I steered away from some of the earlier originals oh wait I just remembered DUMBO! I loved that one! This movie bedazzled me with its effects which helped bring the story to a new light however it will remain my favorite Disney movie of the year and not favorite animation since that is taken by this years “Despicable Me” that was something to reckon with! I simply loved that one and wouldn’t mind watching it over and over again.
So, for the classic Disney loving person go ahead and check it out, it’s a great movie and I enjoyed every second of it!
P.S. The lizard soooo reminded me of Issous hehe and I kept teasing him about it throughout the movie!
Three weeks ago was my birthday weekend, I dedicated the entire weekend to myself and whatever I wanted I did. One of the things I wanted to do was go and see the new Josh Duhamel movie “Life As We Know It” and I can literally tell you I was laughing throughout the movie and about to really spill everything from the strength of the laughter.
The saddest thing though in Kuwait is that the movie is heavily censored so the first few minutes I was constantly shouting at the screen “What the HELL!” I didn’t get the beginning because of the censorship but that didn’t stop the movie from being funny. The story tackles two individual best friends to a couple, the couple tried to set them up a few years earlier but that didn’t work, the couple is married and had a daughter whom they appointed said best friends to be that child’s godparents. An unfortunate accident occurred and both parents are dead, however their last wish was to have their best friends Katherine Heigel and Josh Duhamel raise their daughter as their own. That probably isn’t the most ideal story however the funniest bits happened when both were trying to deal with a baby without having prior experience. Heigel played her usual neurotic self where is a control freak (a la “The Ugly Truth” and “27 Dresses”) whereas Josh Duhamel plays the goofy aloof guy which is sometimes his typical role. For me Josh made the whole combo work and because of him I laughed my head off in most scenes.
I would recommend you to watch it on a DVD simply because you would avoid the censorship available here in the cinemas.
