It’s been a few days since I got back and up until today I still am not able to fix my sleep, this is the worst case of jetlag I have ever ever been hit with, I think the fact that I am back during Ramadan worsens the whole deal but oh well :/

I got back on the 12th of September, it was a great flight uneventful and all, I had left New York on the 11th of September walking around in the rain (yes it was raining) it was the most beautiful thing walking around early in the morning in the rain and due to the limited funds that I was left with near the end of the trip my sister and I spent most of the time either at the pizza place down the block from the hotel or that little food shop right next door. We were broke, tired, all packed with a flight that leaves at 9pm, and nowhere but Times Square to walk around in, oh and did I mention we were in our Travel Clothes?

Well the best thing was that it was raining and we felt those rain drops falling on us while moving from street to street, and seeing those Fire Department Stations decorated with flowers and candles and pictures was so touching and moving. It was such a beautiful picture to be a part of.

I miss New York. They say that you leave your heart in San Francisco but for me I left my heart in New York City. I can’t wait to visit it again sometime soon. But I should factor in a whole budget dedicated to life there. It is TRULY BEAUTIFUL!
