Wow, eight years of blogging, I have never in my life thought that I would stick this through and write for all those years.  You know how when we’re young we go to the Stationary Bookstore and see those diaries waiting there to be purchased you feel tempted you pick one up and head to the cashier saying that this is the year where you will finally jot down your deepest most thoughtful memories?  After a week or two of writing in that diary you feel stupid and just stop and it gets lost in your room forgotten and left to collect cobwebs?  Well I for one was one of those people, until this day I keep on buying empty diaries hoping to write in them but I just either forget or find out I’m too lazy.

This blog is a similar outlet it’s like a small diary you just purchased but instead of it being there with no voice and spirit this blog has that (I’m not sure if that sentence made sense) what I’m trying to say ever single thought, memory, love, hate, like, dislike, link, video, song, anything and everything shared here was shared with the entire world.  A glimpse into my inner thoughts was seen an interaction was given sometimes I made this blog into a living object and I carried out conversations with it and thus it never got boring or stale.  I admit I neglected it a few years back but then again life was insane at that time.

But now, I’m back to being happy, I’m back to being a version of me that I thought I had lost.  I am happy and glad that I have this time capsule that helps me get through those cold dreary days.  To all my readers who spent every single year here reading bits and pieces from my life, I thank you! I thank you for the wonderful comments for the silent readers, for everything really because without the encouragement and thought that someone out there might be depending on me to share something that might affect their lives I would’ve probably given up.  I thank the new bloggers whom I’ve met courtesy of the social gatherings set by different companies.  I thank the companies for establishing these gatherings and allowing people to interact with each other.  We used to be faces behind computers and now we are out there and better than ever.

I want to thank my family and friends for believing me and supporting me through everything (woah why does this sound like an Oscar acceptance speech, hehe I’d like to thank my manager woops wrong bit here) No but seriously thank you for being my #1 fans, I would most importantly like the person who got me into blogging an old dear friend who no longer blogs or is active on the scene Zeecu.  I want to thank my dearest old buddies Nibaq who created the first ever Kuwait Blog Aggregator, Safat; Purgatory one of the craziest bloggers of our time; Mark and his wife Nat as well as his amazing awesome sister Rampurple for being the ones who helped and supported this place, Tooomz one of my craziest friends, Q80ChillGirl, I’d like to thank every old blogger who has stopped blogging or remained a blogger, Frankom one of the peeps of my generation, Swair, Symbols (a.k.a. Sou), my bestest friend in the whole wide world Ananyah, Marzouq, my newest best friend Swera, among many many other people.  If I am to sit here mentioning each and every name you will be reading until tomorrow.

In short, thank you for these eight wonderful years I hope to see many more to come and who knows I wish to see me celebrating the big 10, 20, 30! Thank you all and I bid you a Goodnight!

Eight years we’ve spent on Wisteria Lane anticipating week after week a new mystery each season, growing up with Gabrielle Solis and Carlos going through their hardships, their heartaches, their love, the growth of their family.

Becoming a better person with Bree Van Dekamp and her messed up family and realizing that appearances are not what they seem and in the end mistakes are what make us human.  And nothing can ever get between her and the people she loves, she will protect them with her life if need be.

Seeing what a true family goes through and what it means to be one with Lynette and Tom Scavo and how their messed up roles are really what everyone goes through but you cannot see behind closed doors.

And finally seeing that love at first sight truly exists with Susan Myers and Mike Delfino and that although it’s there it doesn’t negate all the hardships one has to endure in a relationship.

Growing up with these four women and their close relationship after the death of their best friend Mary Alice Young is what I will personally miss the most, I will miss Gabrielle and Carlos’s bickering and fighting.  I will miss Bree’s perfection because every single one of us truly wants to be a Bree Van decamp.  And I will sure miss the strength of Lynette and Tom and how they stick through it until the end.

But the person I love and miss the most will most definitely be Mrs. Karen McClusky the old woman next door who through thick and thin was like a mother, a sister, a friend, and so much more and hope that one day that fictitious lane really does come into existence and the world becomes a much safer place.

Thank you Wisteria Lane for those wonderful eight seasons of pure joy and thank you for inviting us to be part of your lane.

What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.

And thus whenever I am faced with a dilemma or obstacle I always keep a positive outlook (to the best of my ability) and try to weather through the storm.  No matter how small or how big your obstacle the light at the end of that tunnel will shine through and light your way to a brighter and greater future.

I guess what I’m trying to say is in the words of Joseph P. Kennedy “when the going gets tough, the tough get going.” So stay strong and stay true!

I think their marketing campaign is really good especially seeing the message you get the minute you open the box.  ”I’m the ONE you’ve been waiting for..” How genius is that! The white version of that phone is simply gorgeous and the specs are beautiful as well but the Apple Freak in me refuses to lay down a chunk of change for that monster!

Seriously I have never liked Android devices but this one has the power to tempt me to give them a better shot and I’m not sure if I will stay strong for a long time but until then I am faithfully and loyally tied to my sexy iPhone!

Yes my iPhone is my main phone anything and everything that I own is a secondary to that monster!

Can’t wait for iPhone 6th Generation this fall!

My previous post [Stolen Words lead to Stolen Ideas] unfortunately was seen in a real life event recently.  Remember when I told you “plagiarism” is the act of copy pasting someone else’s work and taking credit for it? Well this lame ass loser (yes I called you a loser, I’m not scared of you dumbass!) when confronted that these designs belong to the designer Fatima Al Othman (F2O Designs) said that he didn’t know that and he found them online just printed and went to a guy to print them on shirts.  And now that he knows they belong to someone else he will keep printing more of them and will sell them at half the price just to destroy the original artist.

Unfortunately no one here understands Copyright laws but thankfully F2O Designs is a copyrighted trademark which means the second you duplicate that piece of work without the artist’s consent you can be guaranteed a law suit.  And to that I say dearest Fatima bury the mofo! Bury him in the deepest pits of hell because that’s what he deserves.

When our dearest blogging friend OwlOlive confronted him on Twitter he admitted that he got them off the net and that he will just print more and sell them without a care in the world.!

People, just because a picture, an article, or anything is available online does not give you the right to just copy paste it and say “Ohhhh I just came up with this theory!” it’s like you going online to Wikipedia copy pasting Einstein’s Theory of Relativity and saying “Oh look at me, I’m the shiznat! I discovered this shiat and Einstein is worthless!” a real person is taking another person’s idea and furthering it, bettering it, giving it a personal spin.  Same thing goes to you bloggers (yes you idiots who go on celebrity blogs steal the photos without linking, steal articles without linking even if you paraphrased the shit (oh wait you don’t understand what that word means, paraphrasing means copy pasting but adding one or two word of your own, sometimes you just add an “OMG” or “Moo Seeej!” yes I know you do that!) You still have to reference the first place you found it.  The internet is free but it is not meant for you to steal from!

Grow up stupid dumbos! Yes you are a dumbo if you copy paste shit and say it’s yours! We’ve all made that mistake I used to use Google Images in my posts without referencing them but I’ve learned that too was an issue.  So I’m fixing my errorful ways! Fix yours!

Stop stealing dumbos and start innovating!

I arrived home and found a box of Dunkin Donuts one for me and one for Lujain.  I opened hers up and found a nice set of donuts with her name on them and was like, “Awwww Cute!”.

I go over to open my box and find a set of donuts with nothing written on them except “Blackberry” and “Bonus”! I was like “Huh!” And then it clicked! I was the daughter of the black duck (Bent el ba6a el sooda!) But no really it was weird.

Going through Instagram and the blogs I was like hmmm, why me? Why out of all the people out there I would get hit with this.  But then again I realized it’s because I’m an avid Apple fan! That must be it! So all in all it was quite interesting!

Along with the donuts came a press release mentioning that Blackberry and Dunkin Donuts have combined their evil forces for the month of May in which they will be giving out free donuts and coffee for all their blackberry users.

From Wednesday the 16th of May and every Wednesday after that for 4 weeks (or 1 month) during the time period of 6pm – 10pm all you would have to do if you are a Blackberry user is go into any Dunkin Donuts shop show them your Blackberry phone or Playbook (aka my nice little coaster) register your Blackberry PIN and you can receive your free donut and coffee (and an additional set for your friend).

This offer is available throughout Kuwait and it includes the branches available in 360 Mall, Al Kout Mall and Salmiya.

So that Thursday I arrived at a few moments after 2PM and it was right there in the nick of time since everyone had gathered there already.  We were greeted by the Zain Team and our designated tour guide Mr. Mohammad Al Muhaini and his colleagues Ms. Hala Abulhasan and Mr. Abdulmotaleb Nather. Once that was done we went outside and found our trusty bus waiting for us to guide us on a trip that we would never forget (not really but I like to see how this would be a nice mythical story :P) We got on and were passed a special magical box!

The snack box! The box that would keep us busy along with the Zain Trivia Bus Game that was devised especially for this trip.  There were two contests the first was to find a fils that was dropped in one of the Snack boxes which was immediately found by the bloggers ChapterQ8 and the next contest were the trivia questions about Burj Al Hamra tower and Zain Info which the lovely PinkGirlQ8 won. The bus ride went smoothly and unfortunately didn’t have any insanely crazy antics happening (I miss those crazy days!)

We arrived and were shown inside the Hamra Tower and led to the Zain Branch as were getting a preview before it’s official opening which happened to take place on May 1st 2012.  There we met with Mr. Meshal Al Sharhan the Branch Manager who explained to us that this will be the first Luxury Zain Branch and one with special screens, installation centers, quematic systems and more that will differentiate it from all of the other branches.

Walking around it was so much fun and I absolutely fell in love with the Waiting area!

Afterwards we were spoken to by the Hamra Tower Management Team who gave us more information about the building and led us on a tour of the higher floors and gave us a chance to take pictures from the roof.

The first stop happened to be on the 52nd Floor which will feature their own cafeteria/restaurant place as a special part of the tower.

Next stop was the 74th floor which would give us a bigger opportunity to see everything around us.  The restaurant that will open on these floors and how there would be balconies there for people to dine in.

The view from the 78th floor was amazing and breath-taking we were all running to take pictures (not really running as if we would just miss a step we might fall to our fatal deaths) but you get the picture.

See that vent in the previous picture this was what it looked like from inside, I kept thinking this would make a cool slide :P

All in all, the day was awesome filled with lots of helpful information and lovely scenary!

It appears to be I used up my alloted memory that was assigned to my website and had a huge load on the site.  Fortunately though this will be solved soon by fixing bits and pieces in the website.  I appear to have a lot of plugins running some of which not that important really.  Will look towards removing them completely.

But it feels great to be back up and running.  God I was itching to write a post every minute of my downtime but I kept feeling frustrated because I couldn’t do that! I did however write two drafts and saved them so might publish one today while the other sometime later on.  I just can’t believe that I can finally BREATHE again!
