Ever since the beginning of May news of some shows that were being renewed and canceled were circulating the web but we can now bring you the important details of what was renewed and what shows weren’t.
FOX have announced the renewals of the following shows: “Bones” (7th Season), and “House” (8th Season). Those shows joined the ranks of the already renewed other shows: “American Dad” (8th Season), “Bob’s Burgers” (2nd Season), “The Cleveland Show” (3rd Season), “Family Guy” (10th Season), “Fringe” (4th Season), “Glee” (3rd Season), “Raising Hope” (2nd Season), and “The Simpsons” (23rd Season).
However, most of the new shows and existing ones did not make the cut and were sent out on the chopping block, those shows include: “Breaking In”, “The Chicago Code”, “Human Target”, “Lie to Me”, “Traffic Light”, “Running Wilde”, and “Lone Star”..
The verdict is still out on “American Idol” however it is mostly likely going to be renewed.
With 7 shows out of the running it made room for some new pilots that will be premiering in the Fall Line-up, a look at those shows will be taken before the season starts in hopes that they do not canceled beforehand.
It’s official, Fox just canceled “Lone Star”.
The network that brought you “Til Death” for 4 seasons when no one was watching it just canceled “Lone Star” and announced that “Lie to Me” will take over the show’s former time slot as of next Monday.
I don’t think they gave it a chance to turn its way around by canceling it after just 2 episodes airing but then again a show about a man leading 2 lives with 2 different wives and being a con artist didn’t rub off that well on many.
The show could have had potential but unfortunately now we will never see that.
For me, it’s good news now my Mondays have 1 less show to follow and watch.

One of the best ways I think to classify the new TV Shows is by the days they air and not the genre because well you will definitely be following them the next day and it’ll give you a sense of what type of show to watch if you’re looking for something new that day. This September we see a number of new Monday TV Shows of which I will be giving you glimpses for: The Event, Lone Star, Chase, Hawaii Five O, and Mike & Molly. Call this a little preview without any spoilers just to give you a sense of what the show is about.
